Is There A Christian Sabbath?

This year, Dr. Gentry will speak about the Sabbath, which first appears in the book of Genesis and is an important part of the Mosaic Covenant made by God with Israel. He will then examine what the New Testament says about the Sabbath, its connection to Jesus Christ, and its importance for Christians today.

The lectures take place from September 27th to the 28th, with our Convocation service wrapping up the weekend. There will be an Alumni Lunch for all attendees on September 27th.

The Bauman Lectures take place every year during the fall term. They are named after Clifford Bauman, our longest serving trustee member, and long-time member of Jarvis Street Baptist Church, who contributes immensely to the ministry of the seminary and the lives of the students.
