At the banquet, two of our students spoke of their time at TBS and their plans for the future. One is planning to go into pastoral ministry and the other plans to leave for the mission field in January. Please keep these and all of our students in your prayers, especially those serving in dangerous parts of the world.
Toronto Baptist Seminary is committed to providing excellent education that is centred on the Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the Scriptures. By supporting TBS you are helping train future pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers to preach and teach the gospel in Canada and throughout the world.
Dr. Thompson has served as the senior pastor of Jarvis Street Baptist Church and president of Toronto Baptist Seminary and Bible College for over 20 years. He teaches systematic theology at the seminary, and is the editor of The Gospel Witness magazine. He is a regular conference speaker and lecturer in Canada, the US, and the Caribbean. Dr. Thompson is married to Lois and has two children.
Dr. Thompson will give a message and a report on the regular operations of the seminary. He will share his vision for the seminary going forward, and long-term plans for the future.
